i was trying to fix the radio interference that my optigan has been getting by trying to ground it a little better. i had a wired up alligator clip running to the ground on my mixer, and was trying to find an appropriate place on the optigan for the other end. attaching to the chassis didn't reduce the noise. i opened up the back and tried attaching it to the ground on the line outs i installed...i accidentally brush against the circuit board...and BANG! optigan dies. surge protector trips. i reset the surge protector, but the optigan is getting no power. i think i brushed against the conection marked '-trans' did i blow the power transformer? anyway to fix it without replacement? if i do have to replace it, what is it exactly?

any help is deeply appreciated.
:(

it's inside the metal "cage" at the rear of the unit, behind the keyboard.

yes! the fuse was the problem...and the optigan is alive again.

thanks!

though now i'm experiencing a volume issue.
on the chord side the E chords are loud, but it gets quieter the further left you go, so the Bb is barely audible.

any idea what's happening?
